1968 USA

Inspired by an iconic moment from the Summer Olympics of 1968, The USA Sock recreates the Team USA logo worn by 200 meter gold medalist Tommie Smith and bronze medalist John Carlos in intarsia knit. With a single fist raised by each during the historic medal ceremony, they honored their country through their athletic achievements while protesting for equality back home.
